Terms & Conditions - Bingo VAS offer

Idea Cellular Ltd. (Idea), in association with technology partners OnMobile Global Ltd. (OnMobile) is organizing a promotional activity (Activity) for its prepaid and postpaid subscribers (provided the subscriber is on an Idea network) of all (hereinafter referred to as "Subscribers/Participants"), subject to the terms and conditions as set out hereunder.

These terms and conditions are available on the Idea Cellular website at www.ideacellular.com By participating in this activity, the subscriber indicates his/her acknowledgement and acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Duration of the Activity (hereinafter referred to as "Activity Period"):

The Activity shall be open for participation by Subscribers from 23rd January 2010 till 17th April 2010

Procedure and Eligibility to participate in the Activity

This Activity is valid only for existing category of active Subscribers* who fulfill the following criteria:

Subscriber must be above 18 years of age.
Subscriber must be a resident of India.
Subscriber must not be convicted and/or prosecuted for the commission of any criminal offence.
Subscriber must not be under any legal disability
Subscriber must be an Idea subscriber
Subscriber must have activated VAS service of MRP 15 to 50Rs or selected a song during the period of the activity.

The subscriber, on activating a VAS service / setting a DT during the activity period shall be eligible for an assured gift of a virtual Bingo Ticket(s), (sent via SMS). With this Virtual Bingo Ticket the subscriber can check if he/she has got the Bingo number by watching the show 'Idea National Bingo Night', which will be aired on Colors TV,. Each virtual Bingo Ticket has a Game ID, Serial Number and Date of the show for which it is valid, followed by the 5 rows of single or double digit numbers. Each row is numbered as R1 (row 1) and each row is separated by a semicolon. Each row has 5 single or double digit numbers separated by commas. Each ticket will be sent as one SMS. The subscriber has to write down the numbers of each row, one below the other in the form of a matrix - 5 rows and 5 columns before the show starts so that he/she can cross the numbers that are being displayed for each game. During the offer period, all DT Downloaders and VAS service subscribers will be informed about how to avail their Bingo tickets through their download/subscription confirmation SMSes. He/she can SMS the keyword INFO to 56700 to get further details on how to avail the tickets that they are eligible for.

The eligible subscriber can obtain the ticket by SMSing the keyword BINGO to the toll-free number 56700. Each time he/she sends the keyword, he/she will receive two bingo tickets, followed by an SMS informing him/her about how to write it down in order to be able to participate in the game. The winner will be solely responsible for sending the keyword BINGO to 56700 in order to obtain the virtual ticket/s he/she is entitled to. In the event that the winner does not receive the ticket in spite of doing so, or if he/she has deleted, or due to any other reason, lost the SMS that contained the virtual ticket, he/she can call customer care and have the ticket/s resent to his/her respective mobile number. All such tickets will have to be reclaimed before the cutoff time of 7pm for each episode (2 hours before the start of each episode) of the Idea National Bingo Night.

The participant can SMS STATUS to the tollfree number 56700 at any time during the activity period in order to get details on the number of tickets he/she is eligible for, the number of tickets he/she has used up, and the number of tickets remaining.

Each participant will be allotted virtual tickets based on the below given table

As soon as the subscriber has made a song download/s or activated a VAS service, the number of tickets he/she is eligible to receive at that time, is recorded by the system based on the above given table. But he/she will not receive any tickets till he/she sends the keyword BINGO to the toll-free number 56700.

Once the participant sends the keyword from the mobile number through which he downloaded the DT(s) or activated a VAS service, he/she will be sent two Virtual Bingo tickets.
Each ticket will be valid for only one game of an episode of the show- the date of which will be given with each ticket.
If the eligible subscriber wants to utilize the tickets he/she is eligible to receive, for a particular show, then he/she has to ensure that he/she sends BINGO to 56700 anytime before 2 hours of the start of the show. The system will process requests for a particular episode only till 18:59:59 hrs on the day that particular show is scheduled to be telecast. Beyond which time, the system will start processing the requests for the episode to be telecast the following week, unless there are no further episodes. For eg: if the next Bingo TV Show is scheduled to start on 23rd Jan 2010, Saturday 21:00 hrs, then all ticket requests received between 23rd Jan 2010 (Saturday) 19:00 hrs and 30th Jan 2010 (Saturday) 18:59 hrs will only be allotted tickets for the episode on 30th Jan 2010 at 21:00 hrs. Any ticket requests received after 30th Jan 19:00 hrs will be allotted tickets for the next episode on the following Saturday, 6th Feb 2010.
Once a participant has redeemed all the tickets that he/she is eligible for at any given point, no further requests will be entertained until he/she makes another download and becomes eligible to receive more tickets.
The last episode of the show will be aired on 17th April and the tickets for this episode will be sent only till 18:59:59 hrs

*The subscriber, the rightful user of the connection, is a person in whose name the mobile phone number is registered, or the employee, who is the user of the phone, if the phone is registered in the name of a company, provided that company issues a letter that the employee has been allotted the specific phone number.
Further, the selected eligible subscribers will be the rightful user of the winning mobile phone number and not the player, if such player is not the rightful user of such mobile number. If the selected eligible subscriber is not able to provide sufficient evidence to show that s/he is the rightful user of the mobile, Idea reserves the right to award the prize to the next selected eligible subscriber or to forfeit the prize, at its sole discretion

This Activity cannot be used in conjunction with any alternative offer or promotion by Idea/OnMobile.

The prizes offered in this contest will be sponsored and distributed by OnMobile. The Prize/s offered in this contest may be given to the winner/s during a special event, the venue, date and time of which shall be announced by the organizers, at their sole discretion, subsequent to the completion of the Contest

Neither Idea/OnMobile nor any of their group entities or affiliates, respective directors, officers, employees, agents, representative shall neither be responsible nor guarantees the quality of the goods / services being offered nor is liable for any defect or deficiency of goods or services so obtained/availed, by the selected eligible subscribers under this Activity.

Any failure on the part of the selected eligible subscribers to comply with any direction/s of Idea/OnMobile for claim of Gift shall entitle Idea/OnMobile to forfeit the Gifts.

Idea/OnMobile reserves the right to change/modify/amend/replace the terms and conditions of the activity at any time at its sole discretion.

The employees of Idea/OnMobile or its group companies, its vendor/s, affiliate or associate companies its subsidiaries, agencies and members of their immediate families are not eligible to participate in this Activity.

Neither Idea/OnMobile nor its group companies, its vendor/s, affiliates or associate companies, subsidiaries shall be responsible for any claim/s arising out of any technical failure/s either before, during, or after the completion of the Activity including but not limited to any technical failures in the telephone lines, failure of servers or the failure to provide the correct Activity score updates or any mistakes arising out of technical snags. Further, they shall also not be responsible for any claims arising out of any failure(s) which are beyond their reasonable control.

This Activity is subject to force majeure circumstances i.e. act of God or any circumstance beyond the control of Idea/OnMobile.

Subscriber hereby agrees and undertakes not to hold Idea/OnMobile and/or any of its group entities or affiliates, their respective directors, officers, employees, agents, vendors, responsible for or liable for, any actions, claims, demands, losses, damages, costs, charges and expenses, either direct or remote that Subscriber may/might have suffered, sustained or incurred, or claims to suffer, sustain or incur, by way of and /or on account of the present Activity.

Idea/OnMobile or any of its group entities or affiliates, their respective directors, officers, employees, agents, representative, shall not be liable for any loss or damage or deficiency whatsoever that may be suffered, or for any personal loss or injury that may be suffered (including loss of life), to a participant and/or any third party, directly or indirectly, by use or non-use of the gift being offered in this activity.

This Activity is subject to guidelines/ directions issued by Telecom Regulatory Authority of India, Department of Telecommunications or any other statutory authority from time to time.

Idea/OnMobile reserves the right to extend, cancel, discontinue, prematurely withdraw, change, alter or modify this Activity or any part thereof including the eligibility criteria at its sole discretion at anytime during it's validity as may be required in view of business exigencies and/or changes by regulatory authority and/or statutory changes and the same shall be binding on the Subscriber

These terms and conditions are subject to Indian Law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the Civil Courts in Mumbai City only.
